We grew up in neighboring towns in Germany, and have known each other since our early twenties. When we eventually came together eight years ago, we got married within three months. We complement each other very well, and our relationship is built on communication, commitment, and an enduring love for each other.

During the last few years we have lived in Atlanta (Georgia), Singapore, Germany, and now in the California bay area. It was quite an adventure! We decided to stay where we felt most comfortable, and are now glad to call the United States our permanent home. Our children are growing up bilingual, and are benefiting from knowing two cultures.
